HOOVER DONATES CHURCH WINDOW (Associated Tress Leased Wire) PORTLAND, Aug. 7 Dedica tion of the Minthorn community church at East Mihvaukie Sunday, August, 24, will have a special sig niticance due to the donation by President Hoover of a stained -'ass Mndow. Dr. John Minthorn, owner of the land near the present church, wun an uncle of President Hoover. Dur ing his childhood, the president spent many vacations with Dr. Minthorn. Mr. Chris Hansen wrote Presi dent Hoover concerning the dedi cation and a stained glass window symbolizing peace, showing a wreath inside of which is a dove with an olive branch was forward ed for installation.
