men, who is now residing In New
York, was married Sunday eve
ning In Porlland to Miss Crystal
Wilcox. Archdeacon Claude Klack
performing .the ceremony. Mr.
Sowersby came west by auto and
visited here a short time with his
parents before going to Portland.
Mr. and Mrs. Sowersby, his pa
rents, accompanied him to Port
land to attend the ceremony. On
Monday the young couple started
on the return trip to New York.
Phil has lived most of his life here
and has many friends to wish him
happiness.

many years, first at Wilbur and

This picnic was held last July
at Huttons -Grove and twenty-five

picnickers and tent campers to one
certain part of Winchester Bay.
There have been signB posted over
the- town and water front no camp
ing allowed. The park has been
set asdle for this purpose for free
picnicking and a small tee will be
charged tor tent campers where
one will find free wood, stoves,
garbage cans and lavatories.
