Enroute to Fair
Geoigo W. Irwin of Sacramento,
Cal., stopped In Roseburg for sev
eral hours this morning enroute to
Alberta, Canada, where he was tak
ing a truck load of thoroughbred
fowls for the lair. He had 1(10
fowls In the exhibit with 20 va
rieties of bantams and 10 of the
buyer sized birds. These fowls
recently showed at San Francisco
and fi3 birds carried away 53
prizes; "ti firsts, 12 seconds and the
remainder third place. Mr. Irwin
had an interesting collection of
fighting game birds brought from
Scotland and Polish Wyandottes.
