"Let's sit. down and eat th:it. bretid. It's nice and brown. When honey's spread upon It, II. will surely taste real good. If no one seems to real ly care, I'll start right now to eal my share. Why, 1 could eat one loaf myself. At least 1 think I could.' "Hey! Wnit a minute! Don't you i dare ! " said Scouty. "You shall have your share, hut there are j only two large loaves. That's not one loaf for each. Now, don't be ; selfish. That s not right. Remem ber, you're a Tinymlle. Don't make It so that we must put tills bread out of your reach." "Now, now!" exclaimed the baker man. "Our brend must stay right In the pan until It cools a little bit. 'Tin best to be discreet. I will not have had tummy aches from eating things this baker bakes. You've surely heard that hot bread Is a real had thing U eat." The bread was then set out to cool. "We mind," wild Coppy, "as a rule, ho we will gladly sit and wait l OoM'T MEM V I VJfvMTCHft To WtRt ( VT " until you say the word. 'Twouid be real end if we'd get aick on bread that really looks so slick. To dis obey your kind advice, of course, would be absurd." "I'll tnke a nap," tho buker said, "while we are waiting on this hrend. In 'bout an hour, please, wake me. Then we all will have a thrill." The Tlnles promised that they would, nnd also promised, they'd be good. They knew that lat er on of bread they all would have their fill. Just then the doofygoo jumped quick aud pulled a very unkind trick. It grabbed one of the loaves of bread, and ran off on the hop. It took the Tluies by surprise. They stared at him with open eyes. Then Clowny jumped up to his feet and shouted loudly, "Stop!" (Clowny catchca the Goofygoo In the next story.) (Copyright, 1!12!1, NRA Hervico, Inc.) By Blosser
