was "Hold fast that which la good
and go forward. Hold fast to
Christ, and lo the church. The

any effort to repeal it or set It

The latter has been here as the
guest of her niece and husband
after an extended trip through
California, Oregon and Washing
ton. She will return to her
home after stopping in San Fran

will go as far as Rod Bluff, where
they will visit a son, Edw. House

on New Year's Day
Quite an enjoyable affair coming
during the olldaya was the fam
ily reunion of the children of Mr.
and Mrs. A. O. Rose of this city
and members of their families.
Four generations were present
for the occasion. The group was
entertained on New Year's day at
dinner at the home of Mr. and
Mrs. Roy Rose at their home oa
South Pine street.

piano solos which were greatly ap
