All cars coming from Coos county are being inspected and in the event they contain children undor 1 16 years are turned back. ( As a precautionary measure the county health unit has asked all 1 communities to keep close watch on any one coming into their towns by train, helping in the coopera tion of keeping out those from tho infected areas. Heretofore only the towns on the main line of travel have been watching for cars coming from the infected areas but this week the other communi ties were asked to koep close track of any, one coming in by cur or train. No cases have been found in Douglas county, although thero .have been new CRses discovered In surrounding counties. As another precautionary measure the county has placed a man at Glendale to as sist the constable there In keeping watch and this assistant will have charge during the night. At all re ports from the quarantine stations of any cars coming in from the In fected regions with children under JS years old or of any from the trains, a strict investigation is made by the health department. Tho quarantine at Cauyonville Is being maintained and good co operation with the county is being given by that station. Police were keeping a ' lookout for the Walter girl while clues at Cascade Locks were be ing followed. - ' j . The girl stayed out side while the purchase was being made. Yesterday tracks of a girl's shoes were found In the sand along the river. Alice Walters' mother examined them. She said they might have been made by her i duughter's shoes.
