SALEM, Ore., June 13 Early this week approximately 3100 na tional Riiardsnieii of Oregon will mobilize at Camp Clatsop and Fort Stevens for 1G days of hard train ing. They will represent 20 Ore gon counties. They will bo In comaiaiul of Brigadier General Cieorge A. White, commander of tbo 82nd brigade, who has complet ed preparations for the encamp ment. Advance detachmonts will move tonight when 100 men will precede lo tbo camp and prepare the pluco for the reception of the main body of the troops. The main body will begin moving Tuesday night when nil units outside of Portland will ontrnln for that city. Tbo entlro force will be In Portland Wednes- day morning and will proceed to I the camp, eight special trains be ing used to carry the troops. The guardsmen will be In camp by noon and tho afternoon will bo devoted to. organization, the only itrnln lug lor the day being formal guard mount at Camp Clatsop and Fort Htnvens. Aotlvo training- will start Thursday morning.' During the last week . 37 camp kitchens and other buildings wore constructed at tho camp at a cost to the govern ment of 847,000. Game Commission today stuck to Its former decision to charge Washington residents $10 for hunting nnd 15 for angling in Oregon. Tills puts the mutter up squnrely to tho Washington offi cials to abide by the reciprocity clauso on its non-resident game feed statute, the commissioners be lieve. Tho Washington act sets the non-resident charge at the amount of the fee charged Its own residents In olher states. If successful the Oregon charge will reduce the Washington non-resident fee about $10 so far as Ore gon residents are concerned.
