Shallabarger of Coquille, former resident of this city, was brought to Roseburg late last night suffering from a serious eye wound, received while they boy and a companion were playing with an axe sometime yesterday afternoon. The eye was seriously cut and the child was taken this morning to the offices of Dr. A. C. Seely" for medical treatment. Whether or not the sight may , bo saved is still a question. On Business G.
