(AP) Funds gleaned from tourists, mostly Americans, nro making possible restoration of the historic Palace of the Popes here. Built in the Fourteenth Century, the famous structure which has been the residence of several Pon tiffs, fell into decay during the Nineteenth Century when it was used as a military barracks.
