The peppiest, snappiest orchestra in the state will be on duty from 8:30 to sunrise. A special band concert program, featuring solo singing and other entertain ment, on the grand veranda of the club house, will begin promptly at 7:30 o'clock. The new club house and grounds will be a blaze of glory. Luncheon and refreshments of all kinds will be served. The cub bears and Shetland ponies will be on the job for the entertainment of the children. WRlGLEYSi if ' BOY SCOUTS ARE HAVING GREAT TIME AT ELK RIVER CAMP The Elk River Coy Scout Camp opened last Sunday with forty-one boys in attendance and is proving one of tne most successful ever held, according to word received from 10. A. Brit ton, scout execu tive in charge of the camp. The weather, he says, is ideal and the location is i such that there is rib danger from forest fires. The cooking done by Mrs. L. S. Taylor, who has been in charge of the culinary department for ,three boys' camps and the camp fire girls' outing, is being highly prais ed, particularly since Mrs. Taylor provided a quarter of a blackberry pie for each of the scouts. The week has ben giv-n over to scouting tests, which will bo con tinued next week. Letters should I bo mailed to the Boy Scout Camp, Port Orford, Oregon.
