the same, the funds to be used un
der the provisions of said act'.'"
Section 25 of chapter 3U!, lien
oral Laws of Oregon, J 93 1, reads as

salo of all bonds, together with all
money received from taxes collect
ed by any corporation under tho
provisions ot this act, shall be paid
to tho state treasurer of the stale
of Oregon and by him kept as a
trust fund to tho credit of such
corporation and to be disbursed
upon the order signed by the presi
dent and secretary of such torpor-J

The Chamber of Commerce Is
desirous of securing listings on
farm land which Js for sale in
Douglas county. These listings
will be held on file for the infor
mation and advice of horaeseckers
endeavoring to find a suitable lo
cation. ,
This Is being done as a part of
the land settlement work of the
chamber of commerce and will
doubtless be a great aid In secur
ing new settlers.
The stale chamber publishes a
booklet,' or price list, once eacn
year. This price list contains the
ll.-lings of farms, which are offer
ed for sale all over the county,
(i.ntainiug a short description of
each pluce aud the amount asked
by the owner.
In each locality there is an ap
piaisal board which has looked
ever tho listings, uscertulnlng that
the land Is of the reasonable value
asucd by the owner, and that It is
suitable for settlement and that
the description is accural i.
