bout at Los Angeles, and wished to
take no chances.
ROD AND GUN CLUB
TO HOLD SHOOT ON
SUNDAY, NOV. 22
' The annual turkey shoot of the
Roseburg Rod and Gun club will
be held at the John Marks grounds
on Sunday, Nov. 22. The club Is
offering a large number of turkeys
and chickens as prizes in handicap
and open matches, and there will
also be drawings for those who do
not shoot. These annual events,
Just prior to Thanksgiving, are al
ways entertaining and draw large
crowds from all parts of the state.
The club has made extensive pre
parations for this event which is
expected to be even better than

being of great value to all who
