FOOTBALL FIELD IS SOAKED TO LAY DUST BEFORE GAME With the city donating the nse of the new street flusher, while the California-Oregon Power company aupplied the water, the new high school athletic field In West Rose burg waa thoroughly soaked today, preparatory to the football game tomorrow between Koeeburg and Eugene high schools. The field baa been getting dry and dusty the dust being ao heavy that it waa difficult to follow the plays. The dry hard field also Increased the danger ot Injury to the players. The soaking down of the field today will put it in excellent condition. The dust will be laid without making the field soggy and at the same time It will be softened enough to elimi nate the danger of aerlous injuries.
