All legislation In this body also must be approved by the Sovereign Grand Lodge. At the Grand Lodge In Jackson ville, last year, two important pieces of legislation that were adapted were the lowering of the age limit for admission in ail branches of the order from twenty one to eighteen years. Another was the changing of the term ot the grand sire from two years to one year. This year there Is likely to be legislation and helpful dis cussion concerning a change in tne rUn of finance. Odd Fellow lodges have been allowing the weekly alck and accident benefit In many uunr- ters, there Is a feeling that thia should be changed and bene'lts should be discretionary with each lodce aa the local members Judge needs. If It could rw overcome, the In crease In membirshle would go for ward by leaps and bounds. There will also be a proposition presented In the organlsa'l.m to change the sessions from annual to biannual meetings. It Is thought that the foundations of the order are now so thoroughly laid thai It will be possible to dispense with the an nual tethering. The above are but a few or tne many questions that will likely arise during the meeting. There will be scores of Innovations pre sented at the gathering that will scarcely reach the committeemen Each new member Is likely to have a set plsn of changing the ancient customs ot the order, hut tne con servstlves are usually In control, and make short shift of most of the proposition". 1.14 1.00 . 30.00 4.79 20.12 1.00 2.68 3.27 6.20 2X.34 3.72 7.61 4.00 5.00 5.44 1.65 1.47 2.00 r- & ttlSfoWtlTGrFZXI Havana a BV'.'w. 1 "'-aiWH i against de mmn n ss mmmmubmb Rusnlsn mu LANDS IN JAIL FOR FAILURE TO HONOR OLD GLORY (AMnrhfl pTMi ImH Wlr..)
