SEATTLE. Aug. 29. Uoy C. Lyle of Seattle, arrived home to day from Washington, where he was made Pacific Northwest pro hibition administrator, effective next Tuesday, aud announced that he would begin work with practically the same organization used by his predecessor, F. A. Ha zeltine. Lyle said that he would make changes very gradually. The only definite thing he stated as to per sonnel was that William M. Whit-, ney, Seattle, assistant and legal adviser to Lyle in Lyle's present position of director for the state, will "continue to do essentially the same work." This notwith standing that Lyle's present posi tion and that of Whitney aro abolished under a re-organization order by General Prohibition Chief Andrews.
