An inleresting variety waB given to the Betting, by a cloth of ferns and a bright centerpiece of moss fern and golden glow. Camp Fire Girls Camp at Beckley's Ferry The members of the Umpqua and Truchelo Camp Fire Girls molored lo Beckley's terry Salurday morn ing to spend the week end. When Hie party arrived the girls paired off, making their camps and pre paring for Ihe day's work. Each set of girls named the camps, a number of clever nameB being used. Pleasan! Lodge, Solid Comfort Inn, Fir Bough Inn, Shady Kest, The Four E's, and Pine Bark Inn were some of the names used. The lime was spent In swimming, some of Ihe girls winning honors for Ihe endurance lest, and biking was also made an occasion of Sat urday. During the evening the girls put on a program and atunta about Hie camp fire, and at the close the camp fire song was sung. On Sun day, following a hike in the morn ing, and swimming in the after noon, a bean Dole was built, one of the camp fire honors, and a corn roust was held. The girla also par ticipated in a game of baseball.
