Wife Faints at Suicide News Mrs. Schwartz, who had consis tently maintained that the char red body found In the partially wrecked laboratory was that of her husband, fainted when Informed that he had taken hfs own life. Police have been unable to deter mine whether she had knowledge that he hadn't perished m the fire as at first seemed to be indicated. A letter written to Mrs. Schwarti read: "Last Monday or Tuesday, I was In the lab. He came straight In. We talked to each other for a little while, when suddenly the man told me that If I did not give him work, I had to give him money. He at tacked me. I gave him a blow on the head. He fell, I gave him an other. He was dead. I never thought for a moment to let go. but I could not make up my mind to go to Bell (presumably Schwartz' attorney) and tell him. I decided to run attay, but made a dirty job of it. I put the man in the closet, got ready. Can you Imagine how I felt all the time, feeling I have to lose you and the dear boys.
