that there were 11 bablea In the
clinic at Pioneer Mills, and 20 In
the clinic at Klkton. During the
pant few weeks Mrs. Post has been
conducting a class In practical
nursing at Pioneer Mills and at
r.tkton. 'I he Klkton class took
examinations yesterday, six mem
bers taking the examination. The
class has had an average attend
ance of twelve or fifteen. The Pio
neer Mills class will ,ake the ex
amination on Wednesday. The
average attendance there has been
about eight.

changes decided on were dictated
solely by a desire for efficiency,
and had nothing to do with poli
tics. Under the revision. South Dako
ta, previously Joined- with Minne
sota and North Dakota, now Is a
part of the Nebraska-Iowa district,
with headquarters In Omaha.
Kansas, previously in the same
district with Nebraska and Iowa,
will be linked Instead with Mis
souri and the southern counties of '

which the government charges vio
lations of the Sherman anti-trust
act, were returned today In federal
district court.
The addition of many individuals
connected with the associations of
furniture manufacturers and the re
indictment of many corporations
would permit of imposition of jail
sentences upon conviction of the
individuals as well .as assessment
of fines of the companies, it was
explained by Roger Shale, special
assistant to the United States attorney-general.
The corporations named In the
new Indictments were those manu
facturing dining roo mand bed
room furniture who were named In
the original Indictments, returned
several weeks ago and failed to ap
penr and enter pleas of guilty.
Mr. Shale said that approximately
one-half of the members of the Na
tional Alliance of Furniture Manu
facturers have already entered
pleas of gulity and paid fines In ex
cess of l-OU.uod. For the other
rases he promised every effort
would be made to bring them to an
early fall trial.
