June 29 , All the brick buildings in Santa Barbara were demolished this morning Including the Arlington Hotel by the earthquake which swept the state and it seems to have centered Its ferocity on this city. An earthquake at 6-:44 a. m. today caused the southern Pacific round house at Santa Barbara, Cal., to cave -In, demolished the railroad station at (loleta. nine miles north of Santa Barbara, and thrust the railroad tracks out of line at Na ples, 15 miles north of Santa Bar bara, -the Southern Pacific dis- i patchers office was Informed here Just before the telegraph wires failed.
