Inspired by the beneficial results i
obtained by the exposure of the
human body to the natural rays of
the sun, medical scientists design
ed the machine to copy that meth
od of treatment where outdoor ex
posure was inauvisaDie or proniDtt-1

sult, established bp extensive tests,
has been to restore to health thou
sands of persons of all ages who
were afflicted with maladies that
had failed to yield to other pre
scribed treatments.

colorless, invisible reproduction of
sunlight In contradistinction to the
commonly known "violet ray," so
called from the color of the light
that a high-frequency electric cur
rent produces when It is passed
through a vacuum. The new improv
ed process has been found to be a
cure for rickets, boils, abscesses,
tonsilltis and ringworms and a pow-
crful aid In Improving the quality ;
of the blood.

iator. Many times the hose con
nections or some of the cones in
the radiator proper will develop a
leak so rapidly that It la a mat
ter of only a few minutes until the
engine has heated to such an ex
tent that the bearings will melt or
the cylinders will become scored,
thus causing a great deal of trou
ble and annoyance to the driver.
To assist In keeping the engine
cool, the radiator should frequent
ly be Inspected In order to be as
sured that .the maximum volume
of water is circulating through the
passages, for loss of water means
heat, and beat mean a ruined
motor. In order to safeguard
against a burned out engine from
any source, keep a weather eye on
the heat Indicator that is placed
on the radiator cap of your car.
