The veteran won tire game by a score of (! to 2, getting the jump on the opposing team which U made up largely of high school boys under the guidance of Dr. O. C. Flnlajr. The Legion men showed up very well, and with Maddox on the mound and Reibel behind the bat only a few of the playera on the combina tion team reached first base. Mad dox had a bad time in the fourth Inning, and tire boys punned over their two runs in that frame. Good mpport, however, pulled him out of a hole, and In the fin al Inning the attempted rally was nipped in the bud. Heck ley, pitching for the combination team, wus inclined to te wild, but pEtchcd a good Kainn otherwise. The gmue tonight will be played between the- Christian and Odd Follows teams.
