Miss ThelmR Cordon, a well known girl of Roseburg, Is recov ering very rapidly from a severe ease of Appendicitis. Although ease of appeldliltls. The money gained from this sale will he applied on the building fund to build the n"w club house for the women. The ladies have taken in over a hundred dollars from this site. Wally Rapp was home over the week end from college and visited with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Rapp. Jimmy Pickens returned to O. A. C. last night after spending the week end here visiting at the home of his parents. Charles Yokum has returned from Albany where he has been visiting with his father. He will remain here for sometime. Fred Hamilton was a visitor In this city Saturday from Half Moon Orchards, and spent the afternoon visiting with friends and attend ing affairs. Chas. Thurston left Rock Creek Friday for the Diamond Lake Ranger District where he will be employed for the coming field season. I'. S. Goodrich, of Yamhill, ho stopped over Sunday and vis ited Mrs. Anna Thnrlsr and at the home of E. R. Thurber, left this morning for Ashland, where she will visit for some time with a granddaughter. ' Building Service Station L. W. Metzger Is building a new modern service station at Riddle for E. E. Hart. This station will have a stucco exterior and will be very neat little station. Mr. Metzger will start work there with full Crew the first of this week. To Locate In Medford Chester Endrup, who has resid ed here for the past few years, has left for Medford, where he will be employed In a men's clothing store. Maurice Newland has recently been elected editor of the Barometer and was especial ly honored In the last Issue of that .paper by a full page head line. Maurice graduated from R. H. S. In the class of '21 and Is now a Junior at Corvallis. Injured In Fall Miss ' Mildred McCulloch was painfully injured Saturday night when she fell down a flight of stairs at the Maccabee hall while attending the Art i son program.
