Sun day afternoon the Douglas County Concert band will give an open air concert at the Court House, assist ed by Mrs. Fred Strang with sev eral vocal numbers. Monday even ing, May 4, the llelnllne Conserva tory will sponsor one of Its large year-end recitals at the Methodist Episcopal church. On Wednesday evening. May t, there will he an Innovation in recitals, when music teachers of Koseburg combine to give a recital, each learln-r provid ing one or several numhers. Dinner was served in the dining room throughout the en tire evening. The dance floor Is one of the finest to be had, being of hardwood, and in the center of the lobby is a mounted deer, and a number of deer heads adorn the dining room. The mirrors in the ball room showing different shapes in reflection, were a source of much amusement to the crowd and added much to the novelty of the inn. The Fmpqua Melody Boys of this city furnished the music which was excellent.
