W. Stovall. Mrs. Stovall alleges that she and her hu-iband were married at Suther land, Tenn., November 2Z. 1100, and that they are the parents of six" children. Her husband has brutally as saulted her upon numerous occas aions, the woman claims, also utating that he has 'struck her 10 ) times during 30 days. Mrs. Stovall claims that her husband, although making from $4 to 9? per day as a mason or carpenter, would refuse to pro vide meat for the table of his family, and would gieet her re quest for food with beatings nnd cursings, but provided bin. self with hot food at the noonday hour at sonve restaurant in town. She further claims that Christ mas gilts were never given by him to herself or any of the chil dren, and that one of the older (children was required to quit school because he. would not prp vide tablets and school supplies. Mrs, Stovall, in her complaint, states that she was forced to pro vide for herself with money which sire secured from the sale of garden truck raised by her self.
