The patronage of the llbrarv con tinues to grow notwithstanding the recent restriction of free circula tion to residents of hte cltv, fol lowing the failure of the county court to Join with the munlcinality in the upkeep. The month of March saw the largest average dally circulation of record, and the demand for new books is always ahead of the supply. At the end of March, the library circulation lists have 320O names, many of whom were those of out-of-town residents who do not be grudee the Insignificant rental fee to which they are amenable. To the visitors at the reading rooms there are available 41 magazines and 7 newspapers, and this service will be Increased as attendance and finances warrant.
