King, a veteran of tho Civil War, passed away at the Soldiers Home Hospital Wed nesday at the age of 85 years, after an Illness of a week. Mr. King was living at Riddle, and wai brought to this city a week ago quite III. He was horn in Krie county, iDhlo. and was a veteran of the 23rd Ohio Infantry company K. He waa well known In Kiddle and Douglas county and leaves many friends to grieve at his passing. Surviving are one daughter. Mrs. Paul ' Gary, of Kiddie, and a son, John, of Los Angeles, who were present with Stiff, swollen.
