In connec tion with the talks In progress be tween Premier Herrlot and For eign Secretary Aunten Chamber lain of Great brltain on the secur ity question. It Is understood on the best authority that M. Her rlot has assured Mr. Chamberlain that France Is ready under cer tain conditions to evacuate the entire Khlneland in the near fu ture. These conditions would be the grunting of an effective security pact and thd underHtandlng that a strong control of armament along the Khlne by the League of Nations would be provided. THREE WORLDS OF THE EARTH TO BE LECTURE SUBJECT It was not by chance that the ancient empire of llabylonla gath ered all the nations of the then civilized world beneath Its ban ners. It was not by chance that Cyrus, the Persian, bore rule over all the earth. It was, not by chance that the armies of Alexander the Great swept all before them. It was not by chance that the Caesars pushed the Roman arms to victory. And It was not by chance that Na poleon and Wilhelm II essayed In vain to do again what these had done before. As a matter of fact, the success es and failures of all thine person ages are clearly shown on the pages of the Dlble. and in language so plain that when the passages ' are pointed out there can be no reasonable question of their mean ing to any who have wondered why these men followed the course ; they did. The history of the earth la dl j vlded Into epochs, dispensations or ! worlds. In each of these Jehovah has been accomplishing certain purposes, making the earth ready for its ultimate end, the home of a happy human family, all the better prepared to enjoy the blessings of perfect life that will then be spread before them because they have tasted other experiences that have ! made them long for something bet ter. I The "dispensation of the fulness of times," as it is called. Is Netill j 1 ahead ; but it is not far ahead. It Is I In this "world to com" (not a world to go to) that the wisdom of Ood will be revealed to all. The full meaning of the expression "Thy will be done on earth as It is ; heaven," will then be tompre ! hended by all. i The confusion and disorder at the present time are due to the transition from the "present evil ; world" to the "world to come ' wherein dwelleth righteousness." It is Increasingly difficult to cover up graft. The changes from the old, crooked methods of the past to the new, clean methods of the future' are not Instantaneous. They are coming gradunlly; but they are coming, none the less. In Bpenklng of this transition time the Lord made the statement that it would be (for certain ln- terests) "a time of trouble such as never was since there was a na ' tion." It Is even so. We witness it on every hand. It is the harbinger of hope that the new and better epoch is at the door. Come and hear about three worlds the two that have passed away, and the new one that is coming in (all here on this literal earth). Mr. K. P. I OF HI (JtMoeUtcd rmi Ltued WIN.) ' PEFtLIN, March 7. The ma jority party In the Reichstag has agreed to frame a measure ap pointing Dr. Walter Simons, pre sident ad interim of the German republic. Dr. Simons was for eign minister and now president of the supreme court at Leipzlc. It Is understood that the de cision to make Dr. Simons the temporary president until a suc cessor to the late President Ebert Is elected, was primarily with the Idea of leaving Dr. Hans Luther free to carry on his important work as chancellor unhampered by the duties of the presidential office. . Dr. Simons was minister of for eign affairs In the Kehrenbach cabinet and was the leader in the German reparations negotiations with the allies. While Chancellor Kehrenbach was a centrist,' Dr. Simons entered the ministry with no proclaimed party affiliations. He resigned with the cabinet in May 1921, following the allies ultimatum on reparations. He later became the German legal adviser on the upper Silesiau boundary commission and .was appointed-president of the Supreme Court In 1932. Dr. Simons was born in 1861. o- We have Oliver steel plows that will plow black, sticky land.
