Wesley Carlyle, well known tlro berman, was instantly killed yes terday morning at about 9 o'clock at Iiildge, in Coos county, when a limb from a falling - tree bit the back of hie. head. Mr. Carlyle was employed by K. K. Weekly and 8ons, at their logging camp at Rrldge at the time of the accident. He and a fellow worker, Fred Ilor en, were felling some timber at the camp and had just cut a large (tree, when It fell against sume 'smaller timber nearby, tho ob struction causing one of the large limbs to snap off and hit Mr. Carlyle in the back of the head, tearing off part of the right side of the skull, and crushing and mangling it badly. He was taken from the mass of timber to a bunk house near by, and Dr. Charles B. Wade, of this city, was Imme diately summoned to the scene of the accident in the hope that the man could be revived. However It was found he was beyond help, and Dr. Phil Keyser, coroner of Coos Point. He was a man of excellent! Stokes said, mentioning a.
