Hansen who recently moved here from Marsh firld, are planning on returning soon to the coast, where Mr. Han sen in employed. They will spend the winter there and return to ureeu with the spring season, to i resume work on their farm. Mrs. Fred Renner and daughter Elizabeth, and Mrs. J. R. Howard and daughter Wllina, attended the International Livestock Show dur ing the first part of September. Klizabeth and Wilraa were sent as the prune bread baking tram from Iiouglas county, their expenses be ing paid by J. H. Booth of the Douglas National Bank. Theirs was one of sixteeii teams who demonstrated at the . stock show. Their demonstration being given on Monday. Though it is not known that the girls won a prize, still it wag said that Douglas coun ty might well be proud of the team they sent. Mrs. Howard and Wllma visited for a few days with Mrs. Howard's rnother in Corvallis before returning home . The regular meeting of the Creen P. T. A. will be Friday evening, Nov. 14th at 8 o'clock.
