could fairly be called "bunk." In cooler moments, they
might admit that they had not stuck strictly to facts. But
when one's mind gets into a certain groove, he may finally
believe the one sided ideas which at first he accepted only
partly. There are all types of politicians and many are fair
minded. As the people grow more intelligent, political
bunk does not meet with so favorable a reception. It will
be well for the politicians during the approaching campaign
to. weigh this fact, and realize that exaggeration and mis
statement tend in these times to rowit against the person
