Notice Is hereby given, that at a
meeting of the Common Council of
the City of Itoseburg, Oregon, held
on the 16th day of June, 1924, the fol
lowing resolution was adopted;
"'Ueaolved that the Common Coun
cil of the City of Koseburg deems it
expedient and necessary and hereby
proposes to improve East Fourth
Street from the south line of Second
Avenue North to the north line of
Commercial Avenue, In the following
manner:
First : By grading said street to the
proper sub-grade.
Second: By paving the roadway of
said street twenty feet In width with
reinforced concrete pavement:
Third: By constructing sub-drains,
If necessary:
Fourth: By constructing street
monuments;
Fifth: By laying vitrified sewer
pipe. If necessary.
Sixth: By constructing catch bas
sins It necessary.
Seventh: By constructing concrete
curbs.
Said Improvements are to be made
In accordance with the Charier and
Ordinances of the City of Itoseburg,
Oregon, and the grade, plans and
specifications and estimates of the
City Engineer, filed In the office of
the City Recorder on the lmh day of
June, 1924, which said grade, plans.
estimates and specifications are here
by approved and adopted.
The entire cost of said Improve
ment, Including engineering. Interest
and all other expenses which the City
of Roseburg would not have Incurred
except for the making of said m
proyement shall be assessed upon the
property especially benefited there
by, as provided by the Charter of
City of Roseburg and In accordance
with a petition of property ownera
to be benefited by said Improvements
and no part thereof shall be paid by
the City of Itoseburg.
