The jury trial to determine the sanity of Harry Thaw was resumed In com mon pleus court today with Dr. Cliarloa s'. Ilurr, all alienist testi fying that Thaw Is still insane. When the case was adjourned last Thursday, five alienists had testi fied that the slayer of Stanford White was sane and safe to release from thn Pennsylvania hospital for mental and nervous diseases and four oihers had expressed the opin ion that be was Insane and would be a menace to the community if re leased. Dr. Burr was called to the stand by Athur fl. Dickson, counsel for the trustees of Thaw'B estate, who are opposing Thaw's release. The alienist said he had examined Thaw three times recently at the request of Mr. Dickson and without any suggestion as to what was to be ex pected from him. "I think Thaw is a case of so called moral insanity," said Dr. Hurr in reply to questions. " He has little or no mental control and is compelled by his condition to follow his impulses.
