Miss Edith Starrett has accented an invitation to speak before the Hawaiian Society of Portland on May S, at which time she will deliver her oration on the Constitution. Miss Starrett was one of the best speakers In the Southern Oregon district and lacked only a very small margin to win the first prize for the district. She is very highly commended for the fine" showing made, and the Port land Telegram has invited her to re peat the oration at the coming meet ing of the Hawaiian Society.
