fought frame at Coquille Saturday
evening, the Roseburg high Bchool
basketball team defeated the basket

BLAZE CAUSES

cupants of rooms at the Sargent
Hotel, 2711 Grand Avenue, on the
cast nidi), were forced to flee, scant
ily clad, from a fire which swept the
building early today. The fire
caused damage estimated aa $10,000.
Police charged the fire originated
in the room of Adolph Antonson, a
teamster, who had been picked up
earlier In tho morning by a patrol
men who know him and put to bed
in his room. The policeman took a
cigarette front Antonson, but accord
ing to the officers the man lit anoth
er one, and the fire was declared
to have been caused by this cigaret
te. Aulonson was later placed under
arrest on a chargo of drunkenness.
