Managers Harrel and MrFarland have an nounced that one of the regular Pantages bills has been secured for that night and Tommy Gibbons will be the feature attraction and will demonstrate his fast footwork nnd skill against one of his company. Gibbons appears on the stage In connection with five other high class vaudeville acts. The entire bill is of the highest order, but naturally the main portion of interest centers around the man who is looked upon as the foremost contender for the highest honor In figlitdom. Not many critics gave Gibbons a chance to win from Dempsey or even stand up against him for five rounds be fore the Shelby aftalr, but his won derful boxing ability, his headlness and his stamina brought him through in splendid Rhape and sports writers were loud in their praise of his work. Local fans, and all who have fol lowed the career of the doughty fighter, will welcome an opportunity to see him In action and a packed house i expected. The performance Is strictly clean and wholesome and the ladies may attend without the least fear of witnessing anything of a brutal nature. Gibbons' act con sists of a short talk, gymnastic dem onstrations and a round or two with one of his sparring partners. He gives a demonstration of some of the best punches In a "slow motion" bout. The rest of the hill consists of five acts of strictly high class vaude ville which will appeal to all. Eddie Kane, Gibbons' manager, who is almost as well known as the fighter, will also appear on the plat form jind will make a short curtain talk. o Return From Portland Mr. and Mrs. L. J.
