running fight with alleged boo! letters
seeking to enter Washington through
a cordon of dry agents surrounding
the capital. Two men were captured
and 45 gallons of whiskey taken.

Seattle attorney and Japanese In vio
lation of the state anti-alien land law,
the suit claims. The attorney declares
the land is held In trust for the minor
son of a Japanese born here, who
when of age, becomes a citizen.

BEN OLCOTT HAS NEW JOB

Olcott, ex-governor of Oregon, has
accepted a position with the credit
department of the Bunk of Italy of
San Francisco, according to word
brought to Portland by friends of Mr.
Olcott who have been visiting m the
south. Mr. Olcott expects to take his

and will locate permanently In Cali
fornia, according to present plans.
