TJie adjoining store room was built originally with the intention of ul timately making it a part of the bank when business conditions would war rant. It was occupied until a few months ago by the llubar Brothers Jewelry store, and since their remov al Into their own building has been used as a storeroom. The bank has become so crowded and cramped that additional space is new necessary and workmen have been employed to make the changes necessary to open up the room Into the bank's present HHISTIAX ( III l! Lockwood Mot or company and which has been re modeled and extended are almost completed and the company Is rear ranging its repair and service depart ment and placing Its equipment to better enable the employees to handle the work coming to that department. During the time repairs were being made the company has been greatly Inconvenienced In handling the large volume of work, but is now In a posi tion to accomplish results much more readily. When all of the machinery which has been obtained Is Installed the Lockwood company will have one of the most thoroughly equipped re pair and service departments In Southern Oregon. Mr. Lockwood Is now engaged In preparing a new labor schedule which Is expected to reduce the cost of mak ing repairs. ' The spare parts and accessory de partment will also be rearranged. When the Improvements are complet ed they will almost double the floor space and will give the company more room In which to conduct the busi ness.
