In order to create a fund for drilling purposes and to pay for the property, 120 acres of land has been equally divided into lots, to be sold for $100 each. A clear title and deed will be given with each lot by the owner in Fee. THE BLACK DIAMOND OIL & IRON SYNDICATE agrees to thoroughly explore this 120 acre tract of land for oil and in the event oil is developed THE BLACK DIAMOND OIL & IRON SYNDICATE further agrees to give the lot owners an undivided 75 interest in the.net profits derived from the sale of all oil produced anywhere upon the entire 120 acre tract. THE BLACK DIAMOND OIL & IRON SYNDICATE has spared no expense in having this tract of land thoroughly exam ined by capable and competent geologists and consulting engineers. C. S. Thomas was for 9 years geologist for the Union Oil Company, Dwight G. Vedder was in the geological department of the Standard Oil Company for 6 years, R. N. Fergu son was formerly connected with the California State Bureau of Mines. Upon the opinion of these men these large and successful oil companies are spending millions of dollars in development near this property, and are paying large dividends as a result. We want to emphasize the fact that this Company was organized and is operated and directed by local men and we invite you to make a most thorough investigation of our enterprise. Literature covering our undertaking together with copies of these geologists reports will be sent to anyone upon request. ORDER BLANK Geo. A.
