October 15. 1920. waa bom in California Feb. 7, 18J9, being 1 yearn 8 monlhs and 8 days old at the time of her death. She came to Orepou Juno 1N70 with her mother, four alutera and brother, and nettled near Host-burg. Douglas County. She wan married to L. M. Archumucau, July 14, 1ST and lived on a farm in Flournoy Valley. Douglas County, until the year 1891, when she moved to the present home near Stayion. OriKon. Two older children: Francis Har den and Lewis Kdward passed away while quite young, while living in Douglas County. She Is survived by her husband, and one son, F.lmer, at home and one daughter. -Mrs. Charles I.effler, and two grandchllilien, Gladys and Haymond I.effler; alo iluee sinter and one brother: W. K. .Mann of Cortland, Oregon; Mrs. Mary Klhot, of Cottage drove. Oregon, and Mis. Vvm. Anderson of Cortland. Oregon. She leaves a large circle of friends and relatives, both in I. Inn and Douglas counties, and In other parts of the state, who mourn tier loss, aa her friends were only lim ited to the extent of her acquaintance. The funeral waa held from the Baptist Church in Siayion, Oregon, 11. Rees. pastor of the htaylon Methodist Kpiscopal Church, offici ating. Interment was in the Masonic cemetary at Stayton, Oregon. MM. -IV Well Known Speaker To Appear Monday Mr. nichard W. Montague, one of Oregon's ablest attorneys, will ad dress the voters of Hoseburg and Douglas county on Monday, October 25th. Mr. Montague was a law partner of George H. Williams, widely known as the "Grand Old Man of Oregon." When the League to Knforce Ceace was organized by ex-Cresident Tufi, Mr. Montague was elected as presi dent of the Oregon branch of that society. His address on .Monday will have particular bcuring on the en forcement of peace; and .Mr. Mon tague expresses himself as being particularly desirous of having in his: audience those whose minds are open on the subject of the league of na tions. Mr. Montague will speak at the courthouse at 8 p. in. next Monday.
