Nevertheless, we believe it is highly detdruble that lowering of prices should be encouraged, and we are therefore anticipating at this time our ability to purchase materials at lower figures during the coming year, to Improve labor efficiency, and to increase our present volume of busi ness, all with the effect of lowering the production cost of automobiles. Existing wage rales will be main tained at all Studebaker plants, which at present are employing 15,- 000 people.
