orc Cherries
Started Today
The A. Rupert cannery was today
put In operation to take care of a
light run of cherries. The early
cherries are beginning to come In
and within a few days It Is expected
that the full force will be required
to handle tho fruit. The Iluiiert
company Is continuing the use of the
old plant on Mill street and will
probably put up all of their fruit
there this year. It Is hoped to have
the warehouse completed by the time
the fruit Is ready to store, as It may
bo several weeks beforo the park
can be moved on aeeount of the
shortago of cars.
