Itoseburg land office for Oregon &
California grant lands, which were
opened for filing on April 12th.
Of these .100 applicants about 00
were persons claiming preferential

ous to Dec. 1, 1913. More than 50
per cent of all applications filed were
by eittei.H of Oregon, and the greater
part of these are residents of Douglas
