Election of Teachers
Held Last Night
All the leaohlng staff ot the ele
mentary fttideg la nJs city was re
elected and offered contracts for the
coming year at the meeting of the
Koseburg school board, last night.
It was the general opinion that the
Instructors bad proved more than
satisfactory and that they all would
be retained. At a meeting cc ma
school board held last week the elec
tion ot blKh school teachers was held
practically all of them being re-elected
with the exception of one who
has made other plans for the com
ing year. A salary Increase was also
discussed and an Increase of from
15 to 20 per cent was decided upon.
No other matters were luken up at
this time. Twenty days are given
the teachers In which to sign their
contracts as they have to be return
ed by April 25th, but It Is thought
ttt the teaching staff next year
will not vary lu many respects.
