Davis and wife, of Dole, re turned home last evening after spending several days here. Mrs. Davis is contemplating a new suit against S. E. Talliuau, whom a Jury In the justice court here recently failed to convict on a charge of lin ing abusive language. Mrs. Davis declares the case is not yet settled and may resume the action iu the near future. Knneral Held Sunday The funeral of the lute W. I.. Nichols, who died at Kiddle. Friday, was held thero Sunday afternoon un der the auspices of the Masonic lodge. The funeral was attended by a big crowd and ttie floral offerings were beautiful. Interment of ill body followed in the Kiddle ceme tery. Among those who attended the funeral from Kosebuig were Simon Cam, 1. 11. Riddle, ninger Hermann. W. A. Taylor, (ieorge Neu ner. E. II. Lenox.
