Receiver Devlin further states that 'n April 29, .1909, he delivered to he Barnk of Drain certain other bonds and eux-k in Heu of that al leged to have been lost and in full uttLsf action and settlement for the .-rtock and that every cause of action was thereby fully settled. For the reasons stated In his answer Mr. Devlin, asks the court to refuse to allow the Itank of Drain to ake anything by this action and that he have judgment against the plain tiff for hie costs and disbursements. Today it was discovered that Edge worth had sent his family from this city last Friday, and has since fol lowed them, leaving behind the record of a eomewhat meteoric ca reer. Creditors of Edgeworth, who figure in all trades in the city, have since learned that the Kansas man operated a similar scheme at Otta wa, Kansas, sometime ago, and a-o in a California town.
