wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs.
W. H. Byars was celebrated Wednes
day, December 23, by a party of
about 25 of their friends surprising
them nt their home on North Com
mercial Btroet. Cards, music, short
talks and readings formed the en
tertainment of the evening. The

R. and W. R. C, with whom Mr. and
Mrs. Byars are popular. E. Hofer
read an appropriate poem for the oc
casion and George Hutch made some
happy remarks apropos to the event

Mrs. Byars. The evening spent was a
pleasant one and will be long rcmem
