Capers, of the Internal Revenue Bureau, in his an nual report states that for the last fiscal year there was a decrease in the receipts of $17,998,072, as com pared with c"he previous year, and that for the first three months of the current year there has been a de- Good Cough Mnllclne for Children. The season for coughs and colds is now at hand and too much care can not be used to protect the children. A child is much more likely to con tract diphtheria or scarlet fever when he has a cold. The quicker you cure bis cold the less the risk. Chamber lain's Cough Remedy is the sole re liance of many mothers, and few of those who have tried It are willing to use any other. Mrs. F. F. Starcher of Ripley, W. Va., says: "I have never used anything other than Chamberlain's Cough Remedy for my children and it has always given good satisfaction." This remedy contains no opium or other narcotic and may be given as confidently to a child as to an adult. For aBle by Hamilton Drug Co. crease of 97,262,238, as compared 1 with the corresponding months of the last fiscal year. The revenues for the full current year are estimated at $250,000,000, which Is $1,665, 000 less than for last) year. The production of distilled grain spirits was 126.989.740 gallons, a decrease of more than 45,000,000 gallons. The prohibition movement, the high price of grain and the agree ment among distillers to curtail pro duction are assigned as the reason. The total production of denatured alcohol during the year was 3,321, 451 wine gallons, which Is about 240,000 gallons lessithan for the pre vious year. BIO LAND OPENING. Give every cold the attention It deserves and you may avoid this disagreeable dis ease. How can you cure a cold? Why not try Chamberlain's Cough Rem- edy? It Is highly recommended. ' Mrs. M. White, of Butler, Tenn., says: I "Several years ago I was bothered I with my throat and lungs. Someone told me of Chamberlain's Cough I Remedy. I began using It and U re - lieved me at once.
