tion Company, which is laying 40
blocks of bitulithlc pavement In tills
city, Buffered $1000 damage by lire
early this morning.
The building In which the machin
ery was located was totally destroyed
as were also the carriers, but the
bitulithlc mixture were only slightly
Injured and the holler and engine
not injured at all.
The tar-like bitulithlc mixture
that was being heated in the big
caldron boiled over and the fire ran
all over the ground. On this ac
count the firemen were unable to use
water on the burning building.
