Wilkin son, who owns the saloon known as "Weary-Willie's," was discharged on Saturday, when arraigned for selling liquor to a minor. The indictment returned by the grand jury alleged that Wilkinson sold beer to a minor. No mention was made of the bar tender, who. It Is snid. sold the be:jr. hence no -agency was shown. All that remained was for Wilkenson to prove that he did not sell the bpr personally, and he was discharged. The outcome in the Wilkenson case was a severe disappointment to Dis trict Attorney Mulkey, who took a great Interest in the case, although the indictment drawn by him was faulty. Minors were employed to se cure evidence and furnished money to buy beer with. Mr. and .Mrs. Wiley Pllkington left Monday for Portland, and after visit ing the big livestock show will pro ceed to Cottonwood, Idaho, to visit with their-daughter, Mrs. P.. D. Ad klnson and family.
