Palace of Sweets Phone 1373 Order Delivered 'AV1XC WOllli TO HUtJIX. Kock Crusher mid Oilier Kqulpnicnt Is Coming Tills Week. Letters received by City Recorder Orciitt, from the Warren Construc tion Co., who have the contract for itoseburg's street paving, announce that they will ship their first ruck crusher to Koseburg this week to be gin their preliminary work on the IS blocks of Btreet paving to be done 111 this city right uway. According to the specifications of the contract tills crusher Is tu be in place here by next Saturday. The work of put ting in the necessary curbings is al so to be commenced at once and the grading will also be done as fust as practicable. Ill conjunction with this paving work a large amouii of slduwalk building will be necessary. The speci fications call for cement walks 12 feet wide abutting all the paved area. This means that in ndditlon to near ly a mile of bltullthlc paved streets, lloseburg is soon to have about two miles of line broad sidewalks. Some plan should now be devised for removing nil the unsightly noles and wires, as well as all the old di lapidated awnings from the principal streets, and Hoseburg will at once merit the reputation of being the most attractive city in Oregon. All the telegraph, telephone and electric light and power poles and wires will have to be replaced before tho nav lug is completed and now will Jie the most favorable and least ex pensive time we are likely to ever nave to get these poles placed on the back streets and alleys, out of the way. Koseburg Is going to grow ran idly from now on nnd it will cost far more to change these lines a few years later than it will to do It now. I he volume of wires is bound to In crease rapidly, and therefore the on- portune time to remove thorn to the back streets nt a minimum of ex pense Is now. Passed lOxumlnulioii Successfully. James Donnhue, New Britain, Con necticut, writes: "I tried several kidney remedies, nnd was treated by our best physicians for dlnbctcs, hut did not improve until I took Foley's Kidney Cure. After the second bottle I showed improvement, nnd five bottles cured me completely. 1 hnve since passed a rigid exnminn tion for life insurance." Foley's Kid ney Cure cures backache and all forms of kidney and bladder trouble. Hcd Cross l'linrmacy. JIOXEV FOR COOS HAY lt()AI. Los Angeles Man Oirers 1(120,00(1 To ward Improvements. SALEM.
